Registration and Orientation FAQ

How do I register for classes?

First, attend the mandatory orientation (see below), where you will sign a parent agreement and students ages 8 and up will sign a student behaviour contract. If you are unable to attend, a recording will be provided here on the website and on the GroupMe, and the forms will be availbe to download in those places as well. Next, request a membership on the website and pay your registration fee. After that, you will be able register for individual classes on the website. Registration for classes will open on July 18, 2025 (July 16 for teachers, board members, and staff) and close on August 5, 2025. Fees will be due by August 12, 2025 unless other arrangements are made with the teachers or with Daniel and Clarissa Perry.

Do I have to attend orientation?

Yes. At least one parent (mother or father) and all students ages 8 and up must attend the mandatory orientation on July 14, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the cabin or watch the recording before registering. Mothers (or fathers) must attend with their own children; sister wives can not attend with other mothers' children. As part of orientation, parents will sign a parent agreement and students will sign a student behavior contract. Those forms will be available on the website and the GroupMe for those who are unable to attend.

Is there a registration fee?

Yes. There is a yearly registration fee of $15 per mother’s family to help cover the cost of maintaining the website. This must be paid before registration. Payments can be made on the website, through our Venmo @MountpleasantCHS, or by cash or check to Daniel or Clarissa Perry.

Should I choose classes for my child?

No. We strongly recommend that students choose their own classes. This results in better engagement, greater accountability, and a more rewarding experience. Parents are encouraged to guide and support, but students should be the ones making the final selections.
